The Course

Our detailing courses are built to be simple, practical, and easy to follow, so employees can learn and apply the standards immediately. By training your team on clear, proven wash and detailing methods, we eliminate the habits that cause swirl marks and damage—delivering consistent, repeatable results across every vehicle and every employee.

Dealer Detailing Direct

With DDS Direct, your dealership’s detailers get one-on-one access to our expert team anytime they need it. Employees can call or text with questions and receive personalized guidance for any detailing scenario — from tricky swirl marks to chemical stains or complex paint correction.

What your team will learn

This course was developed from years of working directly with dealerships and seeing the real-world problems caused by improper wash and detailing practices. I’ve watched detail bays struggle with inconsistent results, swirl marks, wasted time, and dealerships spending thousands repairing paint damage caused by poor washing techniques. I’ve also seen the frustration when a customer picks up a new or serviced vehicle that’s still dirty, streaked, or scratched—undermining the entire sales or service experience. This training shows your team how to properly wash and detail vehicles the right way, creating a consistent process that protects paint, reduces re-dos, saves chemicals and labor, and delivers a clean, professional finish every time. After completing the course, employees will understand proper wash techniques, paint-safe processes, efficiency standards, and how their work directly impacts customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.

Advanced Detailing

Once employees have mastered the fundamentals, the advanced detailing course takes their skills to the next level and allows the dealership to handle higher-level work in-house. This training covers advanced services such as acid washing to safely remove hard water spots, polishing techniques to eliminate light scratches and defects, full vehicle paint correction, clay bar and iron remover processes to remove rail dust and industrial fallout, and thorough interior detailing methods. Employees learn when and how to perform these services correctly, safely, and efficiently—reducing the need to sublet work, minimizing paint damage risks, and restoring vehicles to a higher standard. For dealerships, this means fewer outside reconditioning costs, faster turnaround times, improved vehicle appearance on the lot, and greater control over quality and profitability.
